We review your request and connect you with an appropriate provider, and that provider handles the estimate, the work, the equipment, any permits and their own licensing and insurance.

No. Sending a request is free and there’s no obligation. Look over the estimate you receive and decide for yourself.

Your request is saved right away and reviewed. We then connect you with a local provider suited to the job, and they contact you directly — by your preferred method — to confirm details and arrange the estimate. Emergency requests are flagged high priority.

It depends on provider availability, the time of year and, after a storm, overall demand. We don’t promise specific arrival times. Urgent requests are prioritized, and sending clear photos helps a provider respond faster and more accurately.

No. There’s no charge to you for submitting a request. You pay the provider you choose to hire, based on their estimate. See our provider disclosure for how this service is paid for.

Tree work varies a lot: size, species, condition, access, what the tree is near (house, pool cage, fence, power lines), equipment, debris haul-away, stumps and any permits all matter. That’s why we don’t post fixed prices. A free estimate from the provider is the only reliable number.

Yes, and you should. You can attach up to 6 photos straight from your phone’s camera or library. A photo of the whole tree from a distance, plus close-ups of damage or the base, usually leads to a more accurate first estimate.

The address, what you want done, roughly how tall the tree is, what it’s close to, whether a truck can reach it (gate width, driveway access), whether you want the stump ground and debris hauled away, and a few photos.

Yes. Pick every service that applies on the form — for example tree removal, stump grinding and palm trimming — and describe everything in one request.

Usually, yes. Close-quarters removals are routine in Fort Myers: the tree is taken down in sections and lowered with ropes rather than dropped. Tell us what it’s near and include a photo so the right equipment is planned.

Yes. Choose “Rental / second home” as the property type, and tell us who can give the provider access (you, a tenant, a property manager or a home-watch company).

Yes. Many Lee County owners are seasonal or live out of state. Choose email or text as your preferred contact method and include photos if someone local can take them. Providers can often visit, then send the estimate for you to approve remotely.

Don’t touch the tree or the line. For main utility lines, contact your electric company (FPL or LCEC, depending on your area). Work near energized lines is limited to specially qualified crews. If it’s the service line to your house, mention it in your request.

No — you don’t need to figure it out before you request an estimate. Rules differ between the City of Fort Myers, unincorporated Lee County and the Village of Estero, and HOAs may have their own. The provider handling the job should tell you what applies before work starts.

The local government with jurisdiction over your property: the City of Fort Myers, Lee County or the Village of Estero. Your provider usually knows the process and can often handle it. Tree Trimming Service doesn’t issue permits or give legal advice.

Yes. Under Florida Statute 163.045, a local government can’t require a permit, fee or replanting to prune or remove a tree on a single-family residential property if the owner has documentation from an ISA Certified Arborist or a Florida licensed landscape architect that the tree presents a danger. Ask the provider about an arborist assessment if you think this applies.
